AdBlue®

Description and Application

AdBlue® (AUS 32 ISO 22241) is a high-quality solution of urea (32,5%) in demineralized water. It is specially developed for application in diesel engines using SCR technology. This technology (selective catalytic reduction) reduces hazardous emissions (NOx). When injecting AdBlue® in the SCR catalytic converter, all hazardous nitrogen oxides (NOx) are instantly broken down to harmless nitrogen and water. AdBlue® is designed for use in passenger cars, trucks, busses, agricultural vehicles, and off-road vehicles, meeting the requirements of Euro VI emissions standards and older SCR-equipped vehicles. Always check your user’s manual to make sure you need to use AdBlue®.
