ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
"PRISTA OIL HOLDING is a leader in the production and sales of engine and industrial oils on the Bulgarian and international market, a company operating in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. As a reliable supply chain partner, the company is aware of its responsibility towards reducing the amount of carbon emissions worldwide and the need to achieve a sustainable environment. In this regard, we strive for continuous improvement of products and processes related to their environmental management. By exchanging information with employees, partners and suppliers, we aim to increase their awareness of the impact of their activities, their competence and their responsibility towards the protection of nature in its entirety and diversity.
At PRISTA OIL HOLDING we maintain a clean and healthy environment and strive to reduce our impact on the environment by following these principles:
- Maintaining the work process in compliance with applicable legal, moral and other requirements related to the protection of the environment, health and safety of company personnel and stakeholders;
- Setting environmental requirements for our partners;
- Meeting obligations to stakeholders according to their needs and expectations related to EMS and maintaining proactive cooperation;
- Periodic reporting on the implementation of the EMS objectives;
- Providing the necessary resources for the operation and maintenance of the EMS, and effective management of environmental aspects, risks and opportunities;
- Establish systems and programmes for the implementation, review and updating of this Environmental Policy and its presentation to employees, customers and the public;
- Development and improvement of qualification skills, as well as motivation of employees with a view to future needs, through training, with emphasis on the responsibility of each employee for environmental protection and improvement of the working environment;
- Use of production techniques and methods that reduce environmental impact;
- Encourage each process leader to actively engage and adopt EMS principles and practices;
- Efficient use of natural resources, primarily in the use of materials and energy through:
- Increasing energy efficiency through refurbishment of existing facilities;
- Monitoring electricity and water consumption;
- Using recyclable raw materials and materials in its production activities;
- Limiting the use of raw materials containing:
- minerals originating from conflict-affected and high-risk areas;
- substances, groups of substances or mixtures subject to bans under Regulation (EC) 1907/2006;
- chemical substances that are classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction;
- chemical substances that are subject to discharge reduction regulations, etc.
- Continuously building on our role and responsibilities in the circular economy by:
- use of turnable packaging for finished products to reduce packaging waste;
- Monitoring and management of production and commercial activities for the purpose of optimising the resources used.

This policy will be regularly implemented, reviewed, and updated as necessary. At PRISTA OIL HOLDING, we are committed to communicating this policy to all employees and persons working for or on behalf of the company and it will be made accessible to all stakeholders and the public for information.
