On September 1st, 2021, Daimler AG split into two companies – Mercedes-Benz Group AG and Daimler Truck AG.
Mercedes-Benz Group AG continues to handle the specification requirements and official approvals for light duty vehicles and vans.
Daimler Truck AG manages the specification requirements and official approvals for heavy-duty vehicles. A new approval system is now created – FRS (Fluid Release System) - https://bevo.mercedes-benz-trucks.com/
The process of migration and application to new DTFR specifications started April, 1st 2023.
All labels and data sheets will be amended with DTFR nomenclature until November, 1st 2024.
